for their great work.

UPS Aviation Technologies description:
The new Audio Selector Panels are loaded with features and functionality for the
pilot, crew, and passengers. Each SL15 can be connected to as many as 4
transceivers and 5 receivers. It includes a six place voice activated intercom
with digital signal processors that manage voice activation for each station,
keeping unwanted background noise out without clipping speech. The SL15 can be
interfaced with approved aviation cellular telephones to bring telephone access
to each intercom position. An optional Digital Audio System allows you to record
up to one minute of radio reception. With a single push of a button you can
replay the last incoming transmission and up to 16 messages can be stored. Up to
six inputs from engine gauges can be monitored, and an audible warning can be
heard when a parameter has been exceeded. Dual entertainment inputs allow both
crew and passengers to listen to different music simultaneously. Split mode
communications allows crew members to use two radios at the same time, and a
fail safe feature automatically connects the pilot to com1 if the unit or power
fails.

Description:
This gauge is an interface for the FS2002 radio gauges. It toggles the sounds of
the navaids ident Morse code on and off and corresponds with the installed
radios in the panel. It also toggles between COM1 and COM2 radio.

This gauge has functional buttons like the real instrument. Some of them are
fake buttons with no effect in the FS.

The Buttons and Knobs:
See the picture ExplSL15.bmp which gives an overview of the functions.

The COM1 and COM2 buttons toggle the COM1 and COM2 radios. Having COM1 and COM2
active at the same time is not possible.

The NAV1 and NAV2 buttons switch the sound of the NAV1/NAV2 Morse ident codes on
or off, if the frequency entered in the NAV1/NAV2 radio provides such a signal.

The MKR button is the same, however for an ILS marker beacon.

The ADF button is the same, however for a NDB (ADF) station.

The DME button is the same, however for a DME station.

The ICS, AUX and SPR buttons are fake buttons with no effects in the FS,
nevertheless they are animated and lighted if you push them.

The volume knob at the left side of the panel turns power on or off.
You can have the power switch always set on and use a central avionic circuit
switch in your main panel to set the power of ALL radios in this package.

The selector knob at the right side of the panel has several positions.
Clicking on the left side the knob will turn counter clock wise to it's left
most position. Clicking on the right side the knob will turn clock wise to it's
next position.
Position COM1 sets COM1 button and radio to active, position COM2 sets the COM2
button and radio to active. Any other postion has no effect in the FS.

The small HI-LOW-TEST-switch near the marker beacon lights provides a test mode.
If test mode is active, all marker beacon lights are light up and you hear
Morse code sounds for outer, middle and inner marker.

The marker beacon lights:
They indicate -from left to right outer-, middle-, and inner- marker when the
appropriate frequency is given in the NAV1 radio and when the aircraft is on the
glidepath.

This is version 1.0 of this gauge and if any updates are required I will release
them. Send me an email if anything doesn't work as expected.
